The revolting secret about the Maccas tumble dryer will turn you off forever

McDonald’s customers have been left disgusted after seeing an employee allegedly throw expired milk into one of the milkshake machines.

TikTok user @tel2raww posted the video last week, showing himself pouring milk into the car’s boiler.

The staff member claimed that their general manager instructed them to use the expired milk product, which appears visibly thick, to save money.

The revolting method of ‘cost reduction’

“POV: When your GM tells you to put expired milk in the milkshake machine,” the caption above the clip reads.

The employee said in the caption that his manager told him to do it to “save money,” but he actually thinks he’s “trying to kill someone.”

Chunks of coagulated milk that look similar to curd are then squeezed out of a plastic bottle and fed into the machine.

It’s enough to make you want to buy another thick shake, and the comments section reflected that sentiment…

“Why did you do it?

“This is actually crazy,” read one comment with 34,000 likes.

“Whoaaaah, um, huh?” said another shocked viewer.

Others questioned why the person would follow their manager’s instructions when it came to doing something so unsanitary.

“Why did you do it anyway?” someone asked. “This is crazier than GM. Nonsense.”

Then users pretending to work at McDonald’s entered the conversation with different opinions.

“I’ve worked at McDonald’s for almost three years and I didn’t know about it until my manager told me a while ago. They do this so they don’t lose product and money,” wrote one suspected employee.

“We do that but NOT when they’re that bad, like the day of the day, then we clean them the same night so it never goes wrong, just nothing goes to waste,” said a second.

Another TikToker commented: “This can actually kill people! There’s a thing called a milk gas allergy, and the gas comes from expiration, which is also an allergy to milk acids, which again comes from expired milk.”

Someone then admitted that they worked at Subway and their general manager once took expired food out of the trash can after a food inspector forced them to throw it out.

“I’m not going to eat McDonald’s ice cream anymore because when I worked at McDonald’s, the machine was only cleaned once every three months, GM would reset the timer that tells you to clean it.”
