NY citizens are paying more than ever for a burger and fries

No wonder we can’t do it with meat.

A big batch of new data has revealed some hard-hitting truths about the astronomical prices we’re paying for a burger, fries and a drink across the United States these days, as rampant inflation continues to take its toll all aspects of everyday American life.

And while New Yorkers may think they have it tough, it turns out the city doesn’t even make the top five, according to researchers at Moneygeek.

The study investigated the combination cost at 189 national and local chain restaurants in the nation’s 50 largest cities—revealing a major problem.

“The cost of a burger has risen dramatically in the past two years, meaning America’s favorite meal may be taking a toll on our wallets as well as our waistlines,” the team wrote.
